Dr. O’Connell and his team have taken really good care of me over the years. I’ve been visiting for the past 3ish years for a tattoo removal and am SO happy with the results! I originally had thick black ink on a part of my back that I thought would never budge, but now you can’t even tell it’s there. I feel comfortable wearing a bathing suit again for the first time in ages. While the tattoo removal process itself is rather painful, Dr. O’Connell’s team do their very best to keep you comfortable and distracted. As someone with sensitive skin, I worried something might go awry with the laser removal process, but I needn’t have worried. Dr. O’Connell always took the time to listen and hear my concerns and never pushed my skin more than it could handle. I’d be happy to come back here again for a different treatment like IPL or something if it weren’t for me moving overseas. Thanks again for your service, Doc!

Honestly, I’m so grateful to have found such a caring and skilled aesthetician. “Yao Yao” carefully listens to my every concern with genuine attention and passion. She is extremely humble, professional and highly skilled at what she does. I had 2 facial laser hair reduction sessions with her so far and nothing feels rushed or superficial. Instead, she worked with me thoughtfully and respectfully, while still being incredibly knowledgeable and precise. I was extremely happy with the results from Dr. O’Connell. He was very clear with the procedure and after care instructions. He was upfront and honest with what could be removed (moles and age spots) and what may not be cleared 100% but could be reduced (redness/hyperpigmentation). Both he and Mona were very personable and easy to work with.

I worked with Dr. O'Connell and his staff to have a tattoo removed. Other places quoted me 8-10 sessions for a very small outline tattoo. They required payment up front and ultimately it seemed very shady. I met with Dr. O'Connell and he was very straight forward, he not gimmicky and he actually understands and explains the science of how it worked. He was able to remove my tattoo completely in 4 sessions and even pro-rated one of the appointments because it was basically almost gone. It was painful but only briefly and I really appreciated the work his team did to make it a good experience. I would recommend and am so happy I did it!

I found Serenity Rejuvenation Center via a groupon for laser hair removal sessions. Scheduling the appointment was easy and they are extremely responsive via text. I got a package of three sessions for a brazilian. There was a consultation with the doctor before the first session and he was very thorough in explaining everything. The facility is clean and modern. YaoYao was the aesthetician who performed the removal. She is amazing and made me feel comfortable every time. The sessions do hurt a little but I got great results from the very first one. I opted to continue the sessions after the initial package was over and so far almost 90-95% of the hair is gone. I highly recommend them!

I visited Serenity Rejuvenation Center for removal of three tattoos, both black ink and color ink. Dr. O’ Connell provided an accurate timeline and number of appointments required for their removal. The process was definitely long and painful but Dr. O’ Connell made things as easy as possible. Appointments were quick and efficient and numbing options were available if requested. It took 6 appointments (roughly 1.5 years) to remove all three tattoos. Again, a long time, but I’m super happy I did it. The office is clean, appointments were quick, scheduling was easy and price was affordable. Would definitely recommend Serenity Rejuvenation Center if you’re considering tattoo removal!

I came in to get my toenails treated for toenail fungus (that I picked up by accident from a nail salon that must not have been sanitizing properly), and the laser treatment here worked perfectly! I highly recommend this office as it was always a nice experience.

I had some old acne scars that appeared as raised skin on my face that look really odd. I had those for more than 20 years now and I had been using make up to cover them up, and that brought to me a lot of troubles, so I really want to get rid of them. Dr. O'Connell recommended picosure as treatment. After the 1st treatment, the raised skin issues were resolved 70%, and he did chemical peel and picosure on the tough spots alternatively for the 2nd and 3rd treatment. He even asked me to go back the 4th time to do another spot chemical peel without charging me any extra. I can see that he just wanted to resolve this tough skin issue for me.. After 5 months of hard work, finally my scars are completely gone. Before I visited Dr. O' Connell, I was using different types of facial cream advertised on the internet but none of these helped with my issues. Thank you Dr. O' Connell for helping me to resolve my long lasting scarring issues. He is a very patient and helpful doctor. I would definitely recommend this place for your skin issues.

I’m having laser tattoo removal with Dr. O’Connell and am very pleased with the progress I am seeing. I have had 3 sessions so far to 3 separate tattoos with the PicoSure laser and have seen entire sections of ink fade to my natural skin color (and I have super thick black linework which is notoriously difficult to treat). I am also seeing oxidized white ink disappear (I came to Serenity with oxidized ink from previous sessions in LA and this is also difficult to treat). Dr. O’Connell has excellent bedside manner and really takes his time to give you a proper treatment. He is nice to talk to which helps distract from the discomfort (along with a cooling device - local anesthesia is an option here as well). He has also performed IPL on my face for rosacea and my skin looked great afterwards. I highly recommend Serenity for Dr. O’Connell’s professionalism and experience and am very comfortable having my treatments done here.

Lindsey took excellent care of me for my first appointment and was extremely knowledgeable and kind. I originally tried this place out with a Groupon YEARS ago! I was skeptical, since it was a Groupon, but they have surprised me year after year. I think I have probably been receiving treatments here for different things for the last 4 years or so and I don't ever want to go anyplace else. The doctor is wonderful and very kind and friendly, and the staff (Mona, I'm looking at you) there are no words. Give this place a try if you aren in need of any services they provide.

I have been going to Dr. O'Connell and team over the past year for tattoo removal treatments. They make the entire experience very smooth and have been flexible with appointments when I had to reschedule. They are open on Saturdays which is a huge plus. When I first contacted them online to inquire about prices, Dr. O'Connell called me and went over the whole process and answered all my questions. I still have a few more treatments to go so cannot yet post before and after pictures, but I'm extremely satisfied with the results thus far. After almost 12 treatments i almost dont shave this area..the After photo was taken after 3 weeks of last treatment as you see there are no hair at all!! it grows very slow and it did got soften as well. I have been getting laser treatments for years and the hair always seemed to come back. I started going to Serenity about 3 months ago and the hair seems to be gone for good. I want to start off by saying that it’s extremely discouraging to see reviews that just seem so fake.. I know everyone has their own experience but speaking from mine, I can only say positive things! The staff are extremely friendly, the space is clean and comfortable (and they are even moving to a bigger office this month!), and the results are great! I went in for 6 laser hair removal sessions and have seen about 85% permanent hair loss in my treated areas. For the most part, I had a painless experience, nothing unbearable for me but it does get more painful as you bear the end (laser is stronger and more focused). But, they do offer numbing cream if you feel you need it! I never used it though. Definitely don’t need it for the first session. The consultation was also informative and I never felt unsafe or in the company of inexperienced technicians. Special shoutout to Michelle who does a great job! I would absolutely (and already have) recommend this place for laser hair removal!

Back in 2019 I met with Dr. Steve for the first time to try to gauge different options for tattoo removal in the greater Seatle area and I was blown away. He and his wife were very nice, down to earth, and in-depth in their explanations of the laser removal process, the science, etc. I really like how they check in with you throughout the process to make sure you're both on the same page about what you're doing. I'm 2 sessions into a sleeve lightening procedure on some heavy ink and I'll be able to post my results when I finish sometime next year. Tattoo removal is a long and expensive process, and these guys price extremely fairly compared to other clinics in Seattle. I've been to clinics that give me $1600 per session quotes on smaller areas with absolutely no explanation about the process and a technician who isn't interested in your needs at all. These people are great and if you're in WA looking for tattoo removal, these folks are the best. Thanks guys!

Did laser hair removal at Serenity. Everyone was very professional and nice at the office. I saw a great improvement on my upper and lower lip. Always sent me reminders. Have a tried a few other places before and had much better results here.

So, I’m a redhead, which means that I freckle just looking out a window. I went in for an IPL laser procedure reduce my freckles to “cute level” instead of “overload.” This worked fabulously! I was communicated what I would experience, what I would see in the next coming days, and what results would be expected. This operation isn’t like the huge medical spas, and I liked it because I felt like there was extreme focus on my needs that could directly be relayed to the doctor. I’ll certainly be returning for my facial vanity needs.

I have been seeing Dr. O'Connell little over a year for tattoo removal and I am extremely happy with the results and his office. His staff and himself are very kind, caring, and thorough. Although the removal process is painful, his staff is always on hand to make it as comfortable as possible. Overall very amazing place to get any cosmetic procedures done.

I have known Dr. O'Connell since meeting him aboard a plane from Seattle a decade ago. On one of my annual trips to Washington State, I went to the Serenity Rejuvenation Center for Botox injections. Dr. O'Connell and his staff were extremely pleasant and explained the procedure to me, allaying any anxieties I had at the time. I highly recommend the Center and its staff.

I had a laser hair removal appointment. The appointment went more quickly than originally estimated. With a cooling gel, the pain during the procedure was mild. My technician, Crystal, was friendly.

I have had multiple procedures done here: PicoSure tattoo removal, and in about 4 sessions, I had complete removal of my tattoos. I’ve also had Botox done and with both procedures, I had good experiences with communication, assurance, and results. They are also very accommodating with scheduling, very kind, and professional. I look forward to having even more procedures done here.

After only four PicoSure laser treatments my upper back tattoo is gone! The office staff are great and pricing was very fair. Hopefully I won't need additional tattoo removal work in the future, but I'll definitely return if I do!

I totally recommend Serenity rejuvenation center!! I been getting laser hair removal since December 2019 and since the first session I saw a difference. It doesn’t hurt as much as everyone thinks and is totally worth it!! The staff is the best! Biba and Youngree are super sweet and professional! I went to Serenity Rejuvenation Center in October of 2019 for a consultation for the Mira Dry treatment. I was really nervous but felt like the procedure was necessary as my under arm sweating was out of control. Dr. O'Connell and his staff were able to answer all of my questions and ease my anxiety. The procedure went how it was explained and Dr. O'Connell and his staff made me as comfortable as possible. Dr. O'Connell followed up with a call a few days after. It was greatly appreciated to have the extra support. I highly recommend at least a consultation at this facility as there was no pressure, just good information.

For quite some time, I’ve had sun spots on my face which have bothered me. I have tried using various creams and even micro needling to target them; however, none of that has been been effective. I found Dr. O’Connell on Yelp as he had amazing reviews and I decided to schedule an IPL treatment. Initially, I was scared that it would be painful, but it was completely painless! There was also no downtime at all. It has been about 2 weeks since I’ve obtained the treatment and I can definitely see great results. My skin is clearer and brighter. Before the procedure, the doctor made sure to ask about my goals and medical history. He openly advised me of the risks and benefits and answered all of my questions. He also used the picosure device to remove darker spots. I highly recommend Dr. O’Connell and his team at Serenity Rejuvenation Clinic!
